The SHIF initiative helps recently incarcerated men and women start fresh. Funds will help reduce barriers such as lack of finances for transportation, probation fees, clothing, grooming,and food. The fund will operate through monies generated from grants and donations. S.H.I.F. will provide resources to help with transitioning back into society, such as life skills, employment readiness, and mental wellness.
